How engaged are your employees with their jobs and how satisfied are they with their workplace? By finding the answers to these questions, you can create loyalty— from the inside out.
Employee satisfaction is a proven indicator of an organization’s success. It reduces turnover and absenteeism, and also has a positive relationship with customer satisfaction.
CFI Group applies the cause-and-effect techniques of the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) to help measure employee satisfaction and determine which elements of the job experience will affect future employee behavior. Our consultants will help you target your efforts to maximize desired future behaviors, from lowering employee turnover and absenteeism to any other metric that drives your firm's success.
CFI Group can measure the linkage between employee engagement and citizen satisfaction. And because we use the science of the ACSI, future behaviors can be tied to cost savings or revenue gains (via improved customer satisfaction), enabling companies to predict and measure the impact of employee programs.
We offer four programs to help organizations build employee engagement:
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT STUDY
This program uncovers the unique drivers of employee satisfaction to help target efforts to maximize desired future behaviors such as reduced turnover. This traditional study looks at employee experiences with supervisors, pay, advancement opportunity, leadership communications, benefits, etc., and how those experiences affect job satisfaction and employee’s willingness to remain engaged and with the organization. By measuring employee engagement with the ACSI methodology, your agency will learn where it matters most to invest in your employee’s futures.
EMPLOYEE WORKPLACE CLIMATE STUDY
This effort builds on an employee engagement study and adds modules to evaluate the workplace climate and gauge whether the climate of the organization tolerates and/or encourages positive or negative behaviors (e.g., employees are treated fairly, employees are encouraged to speak out frankly). This program gives a quantitative indicator as to whether the climate is ripe for situations such as tolerance of discrimination which may lead to the need for a much more in depth workplace environment study. A company may wish to add a qualitative component to this type of study to determine the type of problems that exist (e.g., poor leadership, etc.)
EMPLOYEE WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT STUDY
Likely the most delicate, and custom study, this program surveys employees to examine and uncover employee sentiment regarding discrimination in the workplace and its effect on job satisfaction. The survey will analyze up to five unique topics of discrimination that could include gender, sexual orientation, disabilities, race, religious beliefs or other factors such as sexual harassment and assault.
CUSTOM EMPLOYEE ENVIRONMENT STUDY
Companies often have a vehicle for employee engagement measurement already in place. However, companies may not have the resources available to put the results to work. CFI Group has consultants on staff who can work with your team to model and interpret the results.
